ICE MiFID II Workshop in Chicago

An FIA Law & Compliance Division Event
18 July 2017 2:00pm CDT
ICE Offices // Chicago, IL

July 18, 2017 // ICE Offices // 353 N Clark St. Chicago, IL 60654

FIA Law & Compliance Division invites you to attend a special workshop presented by Intercontinental Exchange on MiFID II preparation and requirements.

MiFID II goes live on January 3, 2018 – less than 6 months from now.  The regulations impose a number of new requirements on EU trading venues as well as their clients, regardless of location. These include organizational requirements for DEA providers and exchange members, provision of additional data to trading venues, position limits for commodity derivatives, as well as position and transaction reporting.

As a courtesy to market participants, ICE will explore these regulatory requirements in connection with trading on their markets.

A workshop will be held in Chicago on Tuesday, July 18, at 2:00 p.m. (US Central). Another workshop will follow in New York on Thursday, July 20, at 2:00 p.m. (US Eastern).  A networking reception will immediately follow both programs.

Admission to each workshop is free.  As space is limited, this event is open to members of the FIA Law & Compliance, Market Technology and Operations Americas Divisions only. Please RSVP below.
